Miriam Lavelle Patterson was born on July 16, 1927, in Chester, Pennsylvania, USA. She was an American famous girl and dancer by profession. Miriam had a minor role in the Broadway play 'Sunny River' at the St James theatre in 1941 when she was 15 years old. In 1945, she appeared as Maddie Chittenden in the musical comedy 'Keep Them.

Meet the People. Meet the People (1944) is a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer musical comedy film made, and set, during World War II, and starring Lucille Ball and Dick Powell and featuring Virginia O'Brien, Bert Lahr, Rags Ragland and June Allyson. The film takes its title from a successful Los Angeles musical revue, which ran on Broadway from December 25.
